Lemit Papers to Set up 450 TPD Duplex Board Paper Mill in Morbi

Lemit Papers will be commencing commercial production by May 2022.

Lemit Papers LLP will set up a 450 TPD duplex board paper manufacturing unit in at Morbi in Gujarat. It will manufacture duplex boards in a variety of grades, including LWC, HWC, grey back, and white back of various thicknesses.

The Gujarat-based paper mill will install and commission state-of-the-art technologies and machines to produce high-quality duplex boards. Lemit Papers has ordered the paper machine from China’s Qinyang Ping’an Light Industry Machinery Co. Ltd. The machine will have a finished deckle size of 3750 mm. The pulp mill and approach flow machine will be delivered by the France-based Kadant Lamort SAS. Cellwood Machinery AB will supply hot dispersion, while Valmet will ship IQ scanner. Lemit Papers will be utilizing local and imported waste paper to manufacture duplex board paper.

The installation of the upcoming paper mill is under full swing and is expected to go for commercial production by May 2022.
